The Friends of the Wareham Free Library announced that used book sales are returning to the Wareham Free Library, thanks to the renewed arrangement with the town.

Patrons and shoppers can select used books for sale from carts in the lobby of the library at 59 Marion Road. Hundreds of like-new titles are for sale, and proceeds will benefit the work of the Friends of the Wareham Free Library.

Since staff can no longer accept money or make change, however there is a donation box on the carts, and everyone is on the honor system. Lobby sales will take place every day the library is open.

Donations of used books are not being accepted at this time. The Friends said to look for future announcements for donation dates.

In addition to the book sales, the Friends' bulletin board in the lobby will feature upcoming events, notices of Friends' meetings, and other announcements.
