According to emergency broadcast reports, a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle on Cranberry Highway in Wareham around 8:45 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 3.

The unidentified victim suffered a leg injury in the accident, but does not appear to be seriously injured.

Broadcast reports also stated that a GATRA bus was involved in the incident.

Wareham Police were seen removing a bicycle from the side of the roadway following the incident.

It is unclear at this time if the pedestrian was on the bicycle at the time of the accident.
