Guy S. Fielding, 62, died Thursday, January 15 unexpectedly at his home in Wareham. He was the husband of 42 years to Mary Ellen (Mavrides) Fielding.

Born in Weymouth, he was the son of the late Stanley C. and Georgina (Guliford) Fielding.

Guy was totally loyal to his family and friends. He was always there when needed and a true artist in his craft of carpentry. Taken from us far too early, he will be immensely missed by all who knew and loved him.

Survivors include his wife Mary Ellen; two sons, Daniel Fielding of New Hampton, New Hampshire and Joseph Fielding of Wareham; two sisters, Diane Boivin of Lakeville and Linda Jean Laskey of Halifax; his grandchildren, Joseph James Fielding, Henry James Fielding and Serenity Sky Fielding.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit at the Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 2599 Cranberry Highway (Rt. 28), Wareham on Saturday, January 31st from 2 to 4 p.m.
