Marlene A. Bozza, 75

Marlene A. (LeBlanc) Bozza, 75, of Wareham, died October 10, 2010 in St. Luke's Hospital, New Bedford. She was the wife of John A. Bozza. They were married for 58 years. She was the daughter of the late Leo and Kathleen (Carey) LeBlanc.

She was born in Lynn and lived in Wareham since 1972.   Mrs. Bozza graduated from Classical High School in Lynn.

Mrs. Bozza was a head cashier at Rich's Department Store in Plymouth for many years before retiring.

She enjoyed swimming at the Middleboro YMCA and camping.  She was a communicant of St. Patrick's Church.

Survivors include her widower, John A. Bozza; three daughters, Laura K. Kimball, of Gilford, NH, Linda M. Lucas, of Marion, and Ann Marie Turgeon, of Carver; a daughter-in-law, Nancy Bozza, of Bridgewater; a brother, Joseph LeBlanc, of Lynn; two sisters, Kathleen Plourde, of Peabody, and Rita (LeBlanc) Leblanc, of Daytona, FL; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Her son John A. Bozza, Jr. died in 1993.

Her funeral will be held at 9 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 14,  from the Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 2599 Cranberry Hwy., (Rte.28), Wareham, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Patrick's Church, 82 High St., Wareham. Burial will follow in St. Thomas Aquinas Cemetery, Bridgewater.

Visiting hours are from 4 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, at the funeral home.
