Second annual Carolee’s Comedy Corner Comedy Contest comes to town
Carolee’s Comedy Corner will host the second annual Carolee’s Comedy Corner Comedy Contest Nov. 27 and Nov. 28.
Comedians will have the chance to use their jokes and comedic skills to become the next 5C 2015 Champion. The winner will receive $500. There will also be cash prizes for second and third place winners.
The audience may participate in choosing this year’s winner, as their ballot votes are combined with the judges’ scores to advance their favorite comedian. The contest will be hosted by Chris Tabb, and will be held at Buzzards Play Productions, 3065 Cranberry Hwy.
Amateur and professional comics may sign up, and find more info at http://caroleescomedycorn.wix.com. The entry fee is $40. Deadline for sign-ups is 12 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 20.
Audience tickets are $12. Doors open at 8 p.m, and the contest begins at 9 p.m. each night. A wine and beer cash bar is provided for those aged 21 and older.
