Wareham Police Association thanks Mary Bruce and family for grounds work

Nov 30, 2015

To the editor,

Good morning. Recently it has come to our attention that an extensive amount of grounds-keeping work had been done at our WPA Police Memorial on Marion Road. Mary Bruce and her family took the time to clean the site and bring in mulch which was spread around the flower beds at no cost to the Association. We would like to publicly thank her and everyone involved for their hard work and care. Even though we took down the flags and turned off the electricity and water after Veteran’s Day, it looked great and will make it easier to re-activate it in the spring. The Association takes pride in the Memorial, which honors officers who served the community of Wareham, so we really appreciate any outside assistance.
