Thomas G."Harry" Brooks, 55, of Onset, formally of Roslindale, passed away on Sunday, Dec. 13, after a gallant battle with lung cancer.

A member of the National Guard, he was also the son of the late Martin J. and Catherine Brooks, and the loving Brother of Martin J. Brooks, Jr., of Roslindale, Kathleen A. King, of West Roxbury, John P. Brooks and his wife Jean M. Brooks, of Newton, and Paul F. and his wife Darin M. Brooks, of Walpole. He is also survived by his best friend Anthony J. Senna, of Onset, as well as several nieces, nephews and one grandnephew. The funeral will be held at the William J. Gromley Funeral Home, 2055 Centre St., West Roxbury, on Friday, Dec. 18, at 9 a.m., followed by Mass in the Holy Name Church at 10 a.m. Visiting hours will be Thursday from 4 p.m. – 8 p.m. Relatives and friends are invited. Interment will be at St. Josephs Cemetery.
