Boys Varsity Basketball
The boys varsity basketball team split their games again this week, suffering a close loss on the road Friday to the Southcoast Conference leader Bourne Canalmen (63-58), but bouncing back Tuesday at home to easily defeat Case, 72-40. The loss and victory put the the boys season record to 5 wins against 7 losses.
The boys play at home this week when Apponequet visits on Friday, January 22, and then they travel to New Bedford to take on Greater New Bedford Regional Voke on January 25. Both games will be played at 6:30.
Girls Varsity Basketball
The girls varsity basketball team won two games by one point this week to push their record above .500. The squeezed by Bourne in Wareham on Tuesday, 39-38, and defeated Case in Swansea 42-41. The wins pushed their season record to 6 wins against 5 losses.
The girls will try to sustain their winning streak when they play Apponequet at home on Friday, January 22 , and Greater New Bedford Voke in New Bedford on January 25.
Boys Varsity Hockey (Wareham/Carver)
The Wareham/Caver boys hockey team battled Cape Cod Regional Tech to a 1-1 tie in their game on January 16.
The team plays again on Wednesday, January 20, at 5:00 PM when they take on Bourne at Gallo Arena.
