The offensive work of Seamus Braley, Brody Garber, Nate Wiley, Charlie Richards, Arman Araujo and PJ DaCruz scored a combined 84 goals.

In the championships on Sunday, the team competed in a one-day playoff. The BogRats went to to the semi-finals against Marion/Rochester. With the game tied 2-2, Nate Wiley scored three late goals to help the BogRats advance to the finals against Achusnet.

At the 15-minute mark of the finals, the BogRats scored first with a Nate Wiley goal. A few minutes later, Achusnet found a break in the defense and tied the game at 1. Wareham BogRats went up 2-1 with Brody Garber goal. Again, Acushnet fought back to score the equalizer. At the end regulation the game was tied 2-2 and went into golden goal overtime, which meant the first team to score would win the match.

Acushnet had a few early shots that were turned away by Stephen Sprague. The BogRats worked the ball down field and released two or three shots that were saved. The ball in the corner was fought for and won by Nate Wiley and Juni Suarez and passed to PJ DaCruz, who shot low and hard for the overtime game winner.

The BogRats celebrated their championship with smiles and a trophy. They finish their indoor season as champions and start to prepare for the Spring South Coast Soccer League season in the U12 Boys Division 1.
