Epifanio G. Jorge, 87, of Wareham died July 22 in the Kindred Transitional Care at Forestview in Wareham. He was the husband of the late Dorothy R. (Monteiro) Jorge and the son of the late Benardino and Adelina (Garcia) Jorge.

He was born in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico and lived in Wareham for many years.

Mr. Jorge worked as a material handler at Ocean Spray Cranberry Co. in Middleboro for many years before retiring in 1990.

He was a member of the Wareham-New Bedford Lodge of Elks. He was a loving father. Survivors include two sons, James K. Jorge and Nelson E. Jorge both of Wareham; a daughter, Aida Jorge of Puerto Rico; many grandchildren including Angela Burns of Wareham and Alex Groom of Florida and many great grandchildren.

His services will be private. Arrangements are by the Chapman, Cole &Gleason Funeral Home, 2599 Cranberry Highway, Wareham.
