Thursday, July 28

Movies in Onset

The Onset Film Festival presents free movies at the Onset Band Shell on Thursdays now until Aug. 18. On July 28, the featured movie will be “Zootopia.” The show starts at 8 p.m. Face painting begins at 7 p.m. Popcorn and cotton candy will be on sale.

Friday, July 29

Cranberry Coast Concerts

Cranberry Coast Concerts will present “Spectacular Night! The Fabulous 70s!” at 7 p.m. in Wareham’s First Congregational Church, located at 11 Gibbs Ave. Tickets to the event cost $25 for general admission and $20 for seniors and students. Children 5 to 17 are admitted free with adult paid submissions. Tickets are available at the door 30 minutes before the show.

‘Main Street Madness’

Get a taste of what local businesses have to offer during The Wareham Village Association’s “Main Street Madness” taking place from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Nine Main Street businesses will offer raffles, giveaways, free samples, discounts and more. For a list of participating businesses, click here.

United Methodist Church Annual Summer Fair

The Wesley United Methodist Church’s Annual Summer Fair is from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. rain or shine. The fair includes an auction, bake sale, vendors displaying art and crafts, a children area with bounce house and more.

Lobster rolls, homemade clam chowder, sandwiches and grilled food will be served for lunch. Homemade donuts will be available in the morning. The church is located at 462 Main St.

Bourne Wareham Art Association show

The Bourne Wareham Art Association’s 52nd Annual Art Show and Sale tales place in Buzzards Bay Park in Bourne from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Artists will exhibit original fine art in all mediums as well as photography, jewelry and giclee prints. Wareham Gatemen

The Gatemen will take on the Harwich Mariners at Spillane Field in Wareham, with first pitch scheduled for 6:30 p.m.

Monday, July 31

Midsummer Shakespeare

The Onset Bay Association’s midsummer Shakespeare show starts at 6 p.m. and last two hours. This year’s production is “Much Ado About Nothing.”

The show is free and will be held at the Lillian Gregerman Bandshell in Onset. Donations are accepted.
