The Wareham varsity boys basketball team defeated Bourne High School on Friday night with a score of 71-54. The victory was a sweet one for the boys, who had lost to Bourne by just one point earlier in the season.

Senior Juwaun Gamble was honored before the game began. He was presented with the MLK Youth Spirit Award for his outstanding ability to uphold the dreams of Martin Luther King Jr. in the community. His outstanding talents were also visible on the court. Gamble scored multiple three-point shots during the game.

The Vikings will try to do it again Tuesday when the play Gr. New Bedford RVTHS  at 6:30 p.m. in New Bedford.
