Veronica M. “Ronnie” Masters, 61, of Wareham died Jan. 29, 2011 at home. She was the wife of Theodore J. “Ted” Masters, Jr. and the daughter of the late Howard J. and Mae V. (Murphy) Walter.

She was born in Bronx, NY and lived in Wareham for 30 years.

Mrs. Masters worked in the Housekeeping Department at Tobey Hospital for many years. Previously she worked at Forestview Nursing Home and Cape Cod Nursing Home in Buzzards Bay and for Ocean Spray Cranberry Co.

She loved her family. She was an enthusiastic Yankees fan and she enjoyed playing BINGO.

Survivors include her widower; her daughter, Melissa S. Ringgard of Monument Beach; a brother, Howard J. Walter of Yorktown Heights, NY; a sister, Carol Balas of Wareham; many nephews and nieces.

Her funeral will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 4, 2011 in the Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 2599 Cranberry Highway, Wareham. Burial will follow in the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne.

Visiting hours are from 5 to 8 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
