Wareham volleyball team 3-14 after loss

Wareham volleyball dropped a match after hard fought sets at home vs Old Rochester Regional High School on Monday night (20-25, 17-25, 25-20, 14-25). For the game, dubbed Dig Pink, the teams wore pink shirts to raise awareness for breast cancer research.

Senior Sara Tyma led the Vikings overall effort with a career game of 14 kills, 16 service points, eight aces and 10 digs. Sophomore setter Jillian Rawding added 11 assists and nine digs as well as sophomore Libero Emily Kauranen chipped in with eight digs. Wareham’s record is now 3-13. The team travels to Dighton-Rehoboth on Tuesday for its final road match of the season.
