Car crashes at West Wareham intersection

Police on the scene of an accident that tied up traffic at the intersection of Tobey Road and Cranberry Highway. BY MATTHEW BERNAT
Wareham Police, firefighters and EMS responded to a crash just after noon at the corner of Cranberry Highway and Tobey Road on Monday.
The car, a late-model Volvo, was involved in a crash at the intersection. It's unclear at this time what caused the accident.
Information about any potential injuries was not immediately available.
