Cynthia Burnham, 82

Cynthia L. (Rice) Burnham, 82, of West Wareham passed away March 5 at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital Plymouth. Mrs. Burnham was the wife of the late Neil S. Burnham. She was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Alta Rice. She graduated from Norwell High School and was employed as a school bus driver for the Town of Carver for many years. She enjoyed knitting and following her grandchildren in their sporting events.

She is survived by her children: Daniel Burnham and his wife Mary of Florida, Dana Burnham and his wife Kathy of Plymouth, Steve Burnham and his wife Carolyn of Buzzards Bay, Patricia and her husband Kenneth Knight of West Wareham and Betsy Putney of Plymouth. She was the grandmother of Michael, Krysta, Amanda, Steven, Jane, Michelle, Joshua, Tyler and Dylan. She was the great grandmother of Kenneth and Addison. She was also survived by many loving relatives and friends and her best friend and sister in law Pat Rice of Norwell. She was the sister of the late Ellsworth Rice and Loretta Rice.

Her committal service will be held on Friday, March 10 at 10:30 a.m. in the Massachusetts National Cemetery 1 Bennington Boulevard, Bourne. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend.
