Olive Andrews, 90
Olive (Amado) Andrews, 90, of Onset died March 28 at home. She was the wife of Manuel V. Andrews, Jr. They were married for 67 years. She was the daughter of the late Leon Souto Amado and MaryLouise (Neves) Amado.
She was born in Wareham and lived there all of her life.
Mrs. Andrews worked at Ocean Spray Cranberry Company during the cranberry harvest season throughout the years.
Survivors include her husband, Manuel V. Andrews, Jr.; two sons, Kelvin Andrews and Kevin Andrews both of Onset; two daughters, Corinne Turner and Shelley Andrews both of Onset; 12 grandchildren; many great grandchildren, nephews and nieces. She was the mother of the late Manuel “Toddy” Andrews and Dana Andrews and sister of the late Amelia, Nettie, Leah, Manuel, James, Edward and Frank Amado.
Her funeral will be held at 8 a.m. on Saturday, April 1 from the Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 2599 Cranberry Highway, Wareham, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 a.m. in St. Patrick’s Church, 82 High St., Wareham. Burial will follow in St. Patrick’s Cemetery.
Visiting hours are from 4 to 7 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
