CLEANUP WEEKEND--DON'T TRASH WAREHAM

Apr 21, 2017

Saturday is EARTH DAY and April has been declared  KEEP MASSACHUSETTS BEAUTIFUL MONTH. So it's a great time to be out there helping to make Wareham and Onset clean and beautiful.

Don't Trash Wareham's third annual cleanup is this weekend. We now have more than 350 volunteers ready to hit the streets, parks, playgrounds, beaches and neighborhoods to pick up litter and debris thrown there by unthinking, uncaring litterbugs.

We can always use more volunteers. Grab a bag and some gloves and spend a little time this weekend cleaning an area where you see litter and trash. Our town is beautiful, and litter makes it just look trashy. We welcome visitors and tourists who help our economy, but who would want to come to a town that has litter and trash strewn about?

So, let's all work together this weekend to clean Wareham and Onset. Remember, we take pride in our town!
