Don't Trash Wareham is looking for volunteers to join us in our annual COASTSWEEP cleanup of Onset and Shell Point Beaches.

Meet at the parking lot on the Pier (park free during cleanup) Saturday, September 23 at 10 am to get your bags, gloves, clipboard, pencil and worksheet. As part of the Coastal Zone Management's project, we record what is picked up, from bottles and cans to cigarette butts and Nemo toys!

This is the longest stretch of beaches in our town and we need plenty of volunteers to clean up. The effects of Hurricane Jose just might bring a lot of flotsam and jetsam to our beautiful shores.
