Heavy winds Friday afternoon knocked a tree onto a home at 25 White Pine Drive. The gusty, rainy conditions were a result of Tropical Storm Jose, which has been slowly churning approximately 120 miles southeast of Nantucket.

Poor weather conditions have persisted on the South Coast for the past three days, causing a handful of minor power outages and keeping crews busy clearing downed trees and limbs from streets.
