HOPEFEST FOR SUBSTANCE USE AWARENESS

Oct 2, 2017

The Jordan Hospital Club is proud to announce support of both Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital-Plymouth’s Integrated Healthcare & Substance Use Collaborative and the Plymouth Recovery Center to help address the dual challenges of behavioral health and substance use needs of individuals and families on the South Shore. Throughout the region, communities are struggling with a substance use epidemic that threatens the lives of individuals and weakens the fabric of families and communities.

The BID-Plymouth program brings together healthcare providers and local behavioral health programs in a coordinated model of care to better support those struggling with medical, behavioral health, and substance use needs.  The Plymouth Recovery Center offers peer-to-peer support and referrals to treatment for individuals struggling with substance use issues.

As an independent, all volunteer, fundraising organization, the Jordan Hospital Club is helping BID-Plymouth and the Plymouth Recovery Center shine a light on the issue and will host the Fourth Annual HOPEFEST on November 4th in Plymouth to raise funds and awareness around the importance of behavioral health and substance use integration and peer-to-peer recovery.
