Wareham cheerleaders flip at chance to show off skills
Wareham Vikings and Tigers cheerleaders had an energetic exhibition on Saturday, showing off everything they have worked on this year.
With seven graduating seniors from the squad, the students were excited to demonstrate their routine. The Wareham Vikings cheerleaders weren't able to compete this year since one of the squad members had an injury, so the exhibition allowed them to show friends and family their skills.
"It's one last shebang to show off their routine to the public," said Wareham Tigers cheerleader coach Raschel Pratt.
The Wareham Tigers D-Squad, ages 6 to 10, performed separately from the C-Squad, ages 11 and 12. The C-Squad went to a regional competition this year and placed fourth with their routine. After all three squads performed with big smiles and lots of enthusiasm, they joined together for a dance routine everyone could take part in.
