In honor of Presidents Day, the Wareham Historical Society will host “A Tribute to the First Ladies” on Feb. 19 at 7 p.m. in the Old Methodist Meetinghouse, 495 Main St.

Facts, trivia and notable contributions of some of the first ladies will be shared and discussed, with a focus on those who have connections to New England and Massachusetts.

There will be a display of memorabilia connecting Wareham and Washington D.C., with a special tribute to Wareham native Donald William Nicholson, in whose honor the Narrows Bridge is dedicated.

Refreshments will be served after the program. There is no cost for Wareham Historical Society members, non-members pay $2.
