Nancy R. Shooshan, 78, of New Bedford, formerly of Onset, passed away April 14 at the Royal Taber Street Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Nancy was born in Somerville, the daughter of the late Kazar and Elna (Quist) Shooshan.

Nancy attended Wareham Public Schools and was an administrator for the Veterans Administration at the VA Medical Center in Brockton for more than 20 years. She enjoyed reading, traveling, jazz and classical music.

She is survived by her son: Eric Bailey and his wife Stacey of Rochester. She was the sister of Richard Shooshan of Missouri, Carole Jensen of Arkansas and Robert Shooshan of Wareham. She was also survived by many loving relatives and friends. She was the sister of the late Michael Shooshan.

Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, April 19, from 4 to 7 p.m. in the Wareham Village Funeral Home, 5 Center St., Wareham. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend. Her funeral service will be held on Friday, April 20, at 10 a.m. in the funeral home followed by interment in Agawam Cemetery Wareham.
