The Wareham Historical Society will hold its 42nd annual Antique and Craft Faire, which will include a car show and demonstration by the Wareham Militia.

The faire will be held from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on July 4 in Center Park, also known as the Village Green.

Antiques will be sold on the Village Green, craft vendors will be in the Congregational Church Hall along with lunch and an air-conditioned eating area for visitors. During that time, a car show will be held at the Tremont Nail Company. property. In addition, the Fearing Tavern will be open for tours.

From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., appraiser Frank McNamee of Marion Antiques will host an Antiques Road Show-style event with appraisals in the Methodist Meeting House.

The cost to have one item appraised is $5 and $10 for three items.

At noon, the Wareham Minutemen and Militia will muster on the Wareham Town Green. Admission for the event costs $4 for adults, kids attend free. Proceeds benefit the Wareham Historical Society.
