Wareham Police make arrests, respond to attempted break in

Wareham Police arrested two on Thursday, July 19. One for outstanding warrants and another for an attempted break in.

Officer Peter Silvia arrested Timothy Morrison, 27, of East Wareham for three outstanding warrants on Cranberry Highway near Meadowlark Drive around 11 a.m.

A few hours later, at about 10 p.m., Officer George Dionne arrested Michael Pipher Jr., 27, of Onset following an incident on Union Avenue.

Pipher reportedly damaged a property during an attempted break in. He was taken to Wareham Police Headquarters to be processed and was charged with vandalizing property and breaking and entering in the nighttime.

Both Pipher and Thibodeau are scheduled to appear in Wareham District Court on July 20.
