The Wareham Public Schools are collecting school supplies for two schools in Santa Cruz, Cape Verde as part of the district’s ongoing “sister school” project in which it builds relationships with Cape Verdean teachers and students.

The "Wareham to Santa Cruz Drive for School Supplies" began on August 13 at the Cape Verdean Festival in Onset. Supplies can be dropped off at Town Hall and at all schools until Sept. 30.

Backpacks, pencils, pens, crayons, glue sticks, 3-ring binders, markers, paper, and erasers are among the items needed.
