A benefit for the residents affected by the three-alarm fire that heavily damaged a Main Street apartment building earlier this month is scheduled for December 17 from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Stevie B's Onset Sports Resort.

The benefit will feature food, music, and raffles. Hollowtree will perform from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. and Carlston's DJ Services will keep the music going from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Tickets cost $10 per person. Children will be admitted free of charge.

All money received will go directly to the victims of the November 2 fire at 298 Main Street, which Wareham Fire officials determined was caused by a faulty light fixture. Ten residents were displaced.
