Cape Cod’s MSPCA is offering free spay/neuter services to pit bull owners in Wareham, New Bedford, Hyannis and Mashpee, now through February.

Special funding from the Massachusetts Animal Coalition has made the free services possible. Those who qualify are invited to fill out an application at www.mspca.org/spayneuter. People will only qualify if: they live in Wareham, New Bedford, Hyannis or Mashpee; they explain their financial need; and their dog is a pit bull mix.

For those who do not qualify or are looking for low-cost spay and neuter resources for pets that aren’t pit bulls, MSPCA Cape Cod recommends reviewing their low-cost programs, also found online at www.mspca.org/spayneuter.
