Donald L. Willis, 69, died Saturday, January 7 at Kindred Transitional Care at Forestview in Wareham after a long illness. He was the husband of Judith A. (Henderson) Willis.

Born in Wareham, he was the son of the late Thomas & Elsie (Haskins) Willis.

Mr. Willis was a machine operator and worked at Cape Cod Shipbuilding, Wheelock Manufacturing, and Chatham Foods in Wareham. He enjoyed playing pool and was a member of the Fan Club billiards league.

Survivors include his wife, his brother, Thomas Willis of Wareham, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held on Sat., Jan. 14, 2012 at the Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 2599 Cranberry Highway (Rt. 28), Wareham at 11:00 AM. Interment will be in Center Cemetery, Wareham. Visiting hours will be from 9:00 to 11:00 AM prior to the service.
