Vote for your favorite PEEPs at the library!

Apr 20, 2022

Just past the circulation desk at the Wareham Free Library, visitors can dive into tiny beach scenes, a gladiator match, outer space or a farm – populated by PEEPs, the Easter marshmallow treat.

The sugary scenes are entrants into the Library’s first PEEPs diorama contest, created by kids, adults and families across town — and four town departments.

Stop by the library at 59 Marion Rd. on Thursday between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. or Friday between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. to cast your vote for the people’s choice award. A panel of judges will select winners in the family, kid and adult categories.

Also happening this week at the library: a “Turtle Walk” by Matt Phelan story walk around the children’s room and a used book sale organized by the Friends of the Library, located in the meeting room. The sale will be open from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Friday and from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday.
