WAREHAM – Natalie E. (Larson) Simpson, 74, of West Wareham passed away on January 1, 2023, at home. She was the wife of the late Paul S. Simpson and the daughter of the late Nils and Ethel (Johnson) Larson.

She was born in Attleboro and lived in Fall River and Wareham for many years. She graduated from Attleboro High School, class of 1966 and Rhode Island College, class of 1970.

Mrs. Simpson worked as a Special Needs Teacher’s Aide for Reads Collaborative in Middleboro.

She enjoyed playing Scrabble with her friend Dee and spending time with her Women’s Bible Study Group. Most of all she loved being with her 3 daughters.

Survivors include her daughters, Kirstin Pimental and her husband, Brian of Sparta, MI, Erika Kauranen and her husband Jason of East Wareham, and Lindsay Pierce and her husband Bobby of Wareham; her foster daughter, Sherry McCarey of East Wareham; 3 grandchildren, Emily Kauranen, Cooper Pimental and Brendan Pimental; a brother, Stanley Larson of S. Kingston, RI. She was the sister of the late Nancy Zarle.

Visiting hours are from 2 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, January 7, 2023, at Chapman Funerals and Cremations – WAREHAM, 2599 Cranberry Hwy., Wareham. A funeral service will follow at 4:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
