Wareham chapter of Knights of Columbus wins award

The Knights of Columbus Father Francis E. Grogan Council # 15280 of Wareham received the Massachusetts State Council Church Activities Award for the Council’s “Blue/Anniversary Mass and September 11th Memorial Prayer Service,” held on September 11, 2011.
The award was given for honoring Father Francis E. Grogan, the priest that the Wareham council is named for on the 10th Anniversary of his murder on September 11, 2001 as well as EMS, fire, and police personnel serving in the Wareham community.
