Free walk and talk for people in recovery
Richie’s Road to Recovery presents a free Recovery Walk and Talk, every Friday at 10 a.m. The walks offer an opportunity for people in recovery to talk with others also in recovery, who understand the life experiences faced by people in this position.
To join the walks, meet at the Lyman Reserve, Head of the Bay Road, on the Plymouth/Bourne/Wareham town line, by the picnic tables in the dirt parking lot. Text Richie at 339-832-5387 with any questions.

Visit with the Freemasons
The Massachusetts Freemasons will open their doors at the Social Harmony Lodge at 2509 Cranberry Highway for an open house from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. There will also be a showing of “The Bridgewater Triangle” at 6 p.m. followed up a Q&A session.

Bring out your trash
The Town of Wareham will hold its HazMat Day from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Hazardous household products will be accepted for disposal. For more information, see page 9.

Trunk or treat
Join the Gleeson Family YMCA for an afternoon full of trunk-or-treating at 33 Charge Pond Road, from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Laugh your way to inner peace
Join Doug Savage for classes in laughter yoga, the practice of using controlled laughter to improve physical and mental wellness, at the First Congregational Church of Wareham 11 Gibbs Avenue, from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. A $5 donation is requested. For any questions, call 774-269-3143.

Haunt the hallways
The Wareham High School Student Council will host its Haunted Hallways event from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. The event is open to sixth graders and younger. Children must be accompanied by an adult and can go door to door trick or treating.
