WAREHAM - Todd J. Barboza, 54, of West Wareham, passed away unexpectedly on April 27, 2024, at Tobey Hospital in Wareham.

Todd was born and raised in Wareham by his parents Joseph E. & Lorraine (Silvia) Barboza. He graduated from Wareham High School in 1988 and pursued his career as an accomplished heavy equipment operator. Until his time of death, he worked tirelessly to ensure the legacy of his family business J Barboza & Sons Excavating.

Todd was also a skilled motocross racer; consistently ranking in the top 3 of all his races. He won multiple titles in the Mass State Championship and the NESC Motocross Across New England.

Survivors include his children, Brianne Barboza of Boston, Ezra Barboza, Todd Barboza Jr., and Tysyn Barboza, all of Wareham; his parents, Joseph and Lorraine Barboza of West Wareham; and his brother, Joseph Barboza, Jr. of West Wareham. His grandparents predeceased him, the late Peter and Margaret Silvia and Theodore and Loretta Barboza. He was also predeceased by his aunts Theresa Gomes, Eleanor Mello, Dorothy Monteiro and his uncle Peter Silvia.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit on Wednesday, May 8, 2024 at Chapman Funerals & Cremations - Wareham, 2599 Cranberry Hwy. (Rt. 28), Wareham from 4:00 to 7:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 9, 2024 at 10:00 AM from the funeral home. Interment will follow in Center Cemetery, Wareham.
