A car crash on Marion Road outside Shaw’s slowed traffic on the afternoon of Friday, June 28.

The vehicles involved in the original crash are unknown.

A light gray Toyota RAV4 was stopped in the center of Route 6 with minor damage as police vehicles blocked part of the road. There was a small amount of debris near the stopped car. This vehicle was not part of the original crash, but a separate incident shortly after that sent a police officer to the hospital.

Police directed traffic around the stopped vehicle. 

An ambulance arrived and left the scene within a span of minutes. It is unknown if anyone was injured.

The identity of the people involved is not known at this time.

As of Monday, July 1, the Wareham Police Department and Fire Department have not responded to a request for comment.
