Local photographer joins photographers council
Wareham photographer Cassandra Sullivan has been elected to the Professional Photographers of America Council for the 2024 to 2-27 term.
The Professional Photographers of America is an international nonprofit association with more than 35,000 members, and it is governed by its members through council representatives. Duties of council members include discussing and voting on changes to the bylaws and the association’s leadership, and sharing the association’s message to existing, new and prospective members in their state.
“As a newly-elected councilor for the Professional Photographers America, I am dedicated to fostering a supportive and innovative community of shared learning and collaboration for fellow photographers,” Sullivan said.
Sullivan is also the President of the Professional Photographers Association of Massachusetts. She has owned Cassandra’s Photography since 2000, and primarily photographs high school seniors and families across Cape Cod and Southeastern Massachusetts. She has been a member of both photography guilds since 2007.
