Hear about the spirit and divine with award-winning poet

Award-winning, Boston-born poet, author and educator Matthew E. Henry will be speaking at the Stone Church Coffee House Thursday, Oct. 15.
Henry will speak about the spirit, and the human relationship to the divine, and how biblical metaphors and stories still influence society while sharing his poetry. He will also speak about how to use the spirit for healing and well-being in todays rapidly changing world.
As an educator, Henry taught English, philosophy and sociology at the high school, college and graduate levels and has authored award winning poetry collections.
Henry currently serves as the editor in chief of The Weight Journal, a literary journal for high school students seeking a creative outlet.

The doors will open to the coffee house at 6:15 p.m. and the event will begin at 7:30 p.m.
