The Planning Board rescheduled a hearing on accessory dwelling units and the proposed solar zoning district for March 10.

The original date for the hearing was Feb. 24.

At the Jan. 13 Special Town Meeting voters decided the Planning Board’s proposals to create a confined solar development area and implement accessory dwelling units needed further study.

At the March 10 hearing community members can provide input on new versions of the proposals.

The original accessory dwelling unit proposal would have imposed various local guidelines and requirements for constructing the smaller secondary homes.

The original solar zoning district proposal would have confined all future large-scale solar development to a designated area.
