New England Family Chiropractic is hosting its annual winter coat drive until November 19.

Chiropractor Dr. Chris Thornell and his clients have collected more than 1,200 new coats for area children over the past eight years.

The office has rounded up nearly 40 coats this year, but Thornell hopes to collect 100.

Last year, Thornell and his clients donated 110 coats to Wareham Public Schools, which distributes coats to families from Wareham to Hyannis, Brockton, and Fall River, to name a few.

To help the effort, drop off a new, kid-sized coat at New England Family Chiropractic, located at 260 Marion Road in Wareham.
