Local churches offer a chance to come in out of the cold

Dec 18, 2012

Once again this year, the Wareham Area Clergy Association is sponsoring Nights of Hospitality, which offers residents in need a warm place to sleep at local churches.

Every night from Dec. 23 to March 16, local churches will open their doors to people who are sleeping outside, or to people who have run out of heating oil.

Bedding, dry socks, dinner, and breakfast are provided. Below is a list of churches, and the nights they will be open:

Emmanuel Church of the Nazarene, at 6 Rogers Avenue, (508-295-926): Dec. 23-29, Jan. 20-26, Feb. 17-23, March 10-16.
