Linda Daum-Doherty, 66, of Wareham, died suddenly on March 24. She was the loving wife of William Doherty for 17 years.

She was born in Haverhill on March 10, 1947, the daughter of the late Russell and Zelda (Theriault) Provencher. Mrs. Daum-Doherty was formerly from Acton. She attended Eastern Nazarene College, where she received her MBA. Linda was a realtor for Ocean Swan Realty for many years.

Linda enjoyed boating, politics, and gardening. She was a former president of the Wareham Garden Club.

In addition to her loving husband, William, Mrs. Daum-Doherty is survived by her son Charles Doherty of Cumberland, RI, two daughters, Marsha Doherty of Mansfield and Sandra Doherty of Mansfield, and her five grandchildren, Marc, Matthew, Amber, Jack, and Kayla.

Her funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 2, at the Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 2599 Cranberry Highway (Rt. 28), Wareham, at 10 a.m. Interment will be in Agawam Cemetery, Wareham. Visiting hours will be held on Monday from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
