Ashley F. Amado, 22, of Onset died June 10, at St. Luke’s Hospital, New Bedford while surrounded by her loving family. She was the daughter of Myrna F. Amado and Christopher E. Mendes. She was born in Falmouth and lived in Onset her whole life.

Ashley graduated from Wareham High School in 2010 and American International College. She worked as a Medical Assistant in the area.

Ashley enjoyed listening to music and being artistic. Her strength was her family and true friends. She was an outgoing and loving person.

Survivors include her parents, Myrna Amado and Christopher E. Mendes both of Onset; her grandparents, Manuel and Marie Amado of Onset and Lucius D. Mendes of Atlanta; a sister, Jalen Pires of Marion; her significant other, Vincent Gomes of Wareham; many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Her Mass of Christian Burial will be held at noon on Friday, June 19 in St. Patrick’s Church, 82 High St. Please meet directly at the church. Burial will follow in St. Patrick’s Cemetery.

Visiting hours are from 5 to 8 p.m. on Thursday at the Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 2599 Cranberry Highway.
