Wareham's Community and Economic Development Authority, the Cape Cod Canal Region Chamber of Commerce and Eastern Bank are joining forces to host a Business to Business Expo at the Bay Pointe Club on Thursday, May 29.

The 11 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. event will feature exhibits from local businesses, lunch and a panel discussion focused to economic development.

Speakers will include Thomas Cahir, executive director of the Cape Cod Regional Transit Authority; Christian LaFrance of the Lafrance Hospitality Group, now constructing a Marriott Hotel at Rosebrook Place the intersection of Routes 195 and 28 in Wareham; and Paul Cripps of the Plymouth County Development Council.

This will mark the business expo's second year. Explained CEDA director Salvador Pina, the success of last year's inaugural event left the organizers eager to plan another -- this time focused on some of the positive developments that have occurred since the first expo.
