The Wareham Middle School and Wareham High PTA is hosting a meet-and-greet with incoming middle school principal Ellen Bankston on Thursday, June 20, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. in the middle school's library.

Bankston is replacing outgoing principal Howard Gilmore, who is retiring after this school year.

Bankston has spent most of her 27-year career working in Falmouth and Mashpee at the elementary and middle school levels. She also taught briefly in New Orleans.

Parents, teachers, middle school staff, and the community at large is welcome to attend.
