Concerts On the Lawn - Candida Rose & the KabuJazz Band

Come enjoy the music and rhythms of Cabo Verde. It's an evening of music sure to get you singing and dancing along with the musicians.

Candida is a musician, cultural educator, and entrepreneur of Cabo Verdean descent based in New Bedford, MA. She recently published “KabuMerikanus: The Sum of US - Exploring the Cabo Verde-United States Musical Connection and Legacy," which explores the transnational musical history of Cabo Verdean Americans from the late 18th century through the early 21st.

A donation to Damien's Food Pantry is your ticket into the show. Bring your lawn chair, bug spray and picnic snack to enjoy. (Concert will be held inside if weather is not cooperative).
