Drive for Damien’s Food Pantry in motorcycle run

Go full throttle for food with Damien’s Food Pantry in a 45 mile motorcycle ride through the South Coast.

Riders will take off from Damien’s at 242 Marion Road Sunday, Oct. 19 at 11 a.m. and take a scenic drive of the area before ending at Redmen Hall, 745 Main Street.

Registration is $25 per person and $15 for a barbecue lunch including chili, pulled pork, Italian sausage bake, mac anc cheese, coleslaw, pasta salad, cornbread, chips and more. The first 100 people registered will receive a free t-shirt and everyone will be entered in a door prize raffle.

Lunch will be at 12 p.m. and everyone is welcome.

Damien's is also looking for volunteers to help with set up, cleaning, serving and more. If interested contact Damien's executive director Rachel Resendes at rresendes@damiensfoodpantry.org.

The event will also feature raffles, a cash bar and live entertainment.
