Ronald C. “Ronnie” Haskell, 70
WAREHAM – Ronald C. “Ronnie” Haskell, 70, of Wareham, died peacefully on Friday, October 24, 2025 at Tobey Hospital in Wareham surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Christine (Comer) Haskell.
Born in Wareham on April 6, 1955, he was the son of the late Ernest E. and Ruth F. (Perry) Haskell.
Ronnie started as a nailer at Tremont Nail Factory in Wareham and proudly ended his career as finish supervisor at Mystic Scenic Studios in Norwood.
Ronnie was a true country soul who loved long rides down back roads, a good classic country tune, and time spent with his family. He was proud of his Chevy truck, adored westerns and horses, and cherished every moment with his children. His humor, strength and big heart will never be forgotten.
Ronnie is survived by his beloved wife Christine; his sons, Ronnie, Jr. and Jimmy; and his daughters, Daneal and Amanda. He also leaves behind his sisters, Ruth Correia, Betty Jane Russell (Manny), Bertha Randall, Bonnie Haskell, Barbara Barrasso (James), Lori Haskell (Kim); his brother, David Haskell (Lori) and his cherished in-laws, Tom Comer and Joanie and Mark Durgin. Ronnie was a proud uncle to many loving nieces and nephews, who will remember his humor, warmth and the joy he brought to every family gathering.
His love for his family was endless and unconditional. He loved all his grandchildren deeply – those near and those apart- and missed them every single day.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Ernie Haskell, Jr. and Ray Haskell. His sisters Brenda Lee, Pauline Haskell and Maryann Bagby; and his beloved in-laws, Ed Correia, Randy Randall, Allan Robbins and Willie and Kathy Matera.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit on Sunday, Nov. 2, 2025 at Chapman Funerals & Cremations – Wareham, 2599 Cranberry Hwy. (Rt. 28), Wareham from 10 AM to 12 Noon. A service of remembrance will follow at 12 Noon.
