Early voting encouraged, town hall service to be limited Nov. 3

Oct 21, 2020

Town Administrator Derek Sullivan said that despite the success of early in-person voting and voting by mail, he expects Election Day on Nov. 3 to bring crowds to all the voting precincts, including Town Hall.

Some Town Hall employees are worried about the crowds, so Sullivan said he will allow any employee who is concerned to use paid time off that day. That means that there may be service interruptions or longer waits for Town Hall tasks.

Sullivan advised those with business to conduct in Town Hall to avoid going in person on Nov. 3 if possible.

“If you can go [vote] ahead of time, please go,” Sullivan said.
