"Bob's Buddies," a Wareham team raising money for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation by participating in the foundation's Great Strides Walk later this month, will hold a fundraiser at Cosi in Wareham Crossing on Wednesday, May 16, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Cosi will donate 10% of the proceeds from sales during the fundraiser to Bob's Buddies.

Bob Alpert is a five-year-old kindergartener at the John W. Decas Elementary School. Bob was born with cystic fibrosis, a life-threatening disease that affects the lungs and digestive system.

The Great Strides Walk will be held on May 19 at the Cape Cod Canal. Each year, Bob and his family walk to raise money for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, which works to find a cure for the disease.
